50 Email Accounts
The program accesses mail servers directly - without going through Outlook or any other email client. To do so, each mailbox is set up as an email account under Menu → Options… → Email accounts. Three account types are supported:
| Account type |
Suitable for |
| IMAP |
Most mailboxes (GMX, IONOS, Strato, Web.de, T-Online, …) as well as custom mail servers and on-premises Exchange servers |
| Microsoft 365 (Graph) |
Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online mailboxes incl. shared mailboxes |
| POP3 |
Older mailboxes without IMAP access (limited feature set) |
For Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online mailboxes, the Microsoft 365 (Graph) account type is recommended: It uses the modern Graph API with OAuth sign-in and supports additional features such as categories and shared mailboxes.
An on-premises Exchange server, on the other hand, is connected as an IMAP account - the Microsoft 365 account type only works with mailboxes in the Microsoft cloud. The required steps on the server (enabling the IMAP services, assigning a certificate) are described in How to connect an on-premises Exchange server.
