50 Email Accounts

The program accesses mail servers directly - without going through Outlook or any other email client. To do so, each mailbox is set up as an email account under Menu → Options… → Email accounts. Three account types are supported:

Account type Suitable for
IMAP Most mailboxes (GMX, IONOS, Strato, Web.de, T-Online, …) as well as custom mail servers and on-premises Exchange servers
Microsoft 365 (Graph) Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online mailboxes incl. shared mailboxes
POP3 Older mailboxes without IMAP access (limited feature set)

For Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online mailboxes, the Microsoft 365 (Graph) account type is recommended: It uses the modern Graph API with OAuth sign-in and supports additional features such as categories and shared mailboxes.

An on-premises Exchange server, on the other hand, is connected as an IMAP account - the Microsoft 365 account type only works with mailboxes in the Microsoft cloud. The required steps on the server (enabling the IMAP services, assigning a certificate) are described in How to connect an on-premises Exchange server.
