30.13 Importance filter

30.13.1 Overview

The importance filter checks the priority set by the sender. It handles especially urgent messages separately (e.g. immediate forwarding) or archives only low-priority mails.


30.13.2 Values

Value Description
High Marked as important by the sender
Normal Standard priority
Low Marked as unimportant by the sender

Note: When no priority is explicitly set, Normal applies.

Operator Description
equals Importance is exactly the selected value
does not equal Importance differs from the selected value

30.13.4 Use case

Forward urgent mails immediately

Importance equals High

Matches only mails that the sender marked as important. Combined with the task Forward email to the responsible person, an escalation channel is created.


30.13.5 Tip

  • Spam mails often arrive with the High flag - combine the filter with sender filters to exclude false positives
