With this online tool you can count the words contained in a text. In addition to the number of words, the tool also counts the characters and the lines of the text. By default, the tool counts words in the same way as Word. This tool is useful for example in cases where the length of the text should not exceed a specific number of words or characters, or must contain a minimum number of words.

Instructions for using the tool

First, enter the text to be analyzed into the input field. Next, you specify whether you want to count only words which contain at least one letter. So you can exclude, for example, annual numbers and special characters from the count. Finally, simply click on the button labeled "Count words" to start the counting. You will then receive a list of the number of words, characters and lines contained in the text.
