00:00:03.500 --> 00:00:16.100
Whether it is invoices for accounting, reports for
colleagues, or receipts for your tax advisor: in this
tutorial, we set up a profile that automatically sends
new PDF files by email.

00:00:17.100 --> 00:00:20.149
First, give the profile a suitable name.

00:00:21.149 --> 00:00:30.599
On the Monitored folders page, choose which folder is
watched. Every PDF file that arrives there will be sent
automatically from now on.

00:00:31.599 --> 00:00:35.249
Use the Add task button to add the task Send file.

00:00:36.249 --> 00:00:46.299
The task appears in the list. All settings are neatly
organized on tabs - from the recipients and the message
text to the send settings.

00:00:47.299 --> 00:00:58.799
For the recipient, you have three options: a fixed
email address, an address from a placeholder - read
directly from the PDF content - or a mapping via a CSV
file.

00:00:59.799 --> 00:01:11.249
For our example, a fixed address is all we need: every
file goes to accounting. Multiple recipients as well as
CC and BCC are possible, too.

00:01:12.249 --> 00:01:24.499
On the Message tab, you define the subject. Using
placeholders, you can also insert values from the PDF
file here - such as the file name or an invoice number.

00:01:25.499 --> 00:01:34.099
Below that, you enter the message text. If you like,
the message can also be sent as a formatted HTML email.

00:01:35.099 --> 00:01:48.749
By default, emails are sent through the email account
from the program options - via Outlook, SMTP, or
Exchange Online. Alternatively, you can store custom
send settings just for this task here.

00:01:49.749 --> 00:02:02.799
From now on, every new PDF file is delivered
automatically. One final tip: on the remaining tabs,
you can attach additional files or protect the file
with a password before it is sent.
