PDF files can contain other files - electronic
invoices, for example, carry their invoice data as an
embedded XML file. In this tutorial, we set up a
profile that automatically extracts such attachments
and saves them as separate files.

First, give the profile a suitable name.

On the Monitored folders page, choose which folder is
watched. Every PDF file that arrives there will be
checked for embedded attachments automatically from now
on.

Use the Add task button to add the task Save

The task appears in the list - by default, all
attachments found are saved.

Optionally, filter by the attachment name: if we enter
x m l here, for example, only XML files are extracted -
such as the invoice data of ZUGFeRD and Factur-X

attachments. Placeholders are supported here as well -
for example, to create a separate subfolder per
invoice.
